Just One Earth
There are not two earths
The earth is only one.
So Haiti is mine
Just like it’s yours.
The sun brings its light
Everywhere the same
Like fireworks and Bengal light
That do not want to blow out.
Close
your eyes and open your heart,
Take a time to remember your childhood,
When your parents were going with you
In those places you can not forget.
Try to
feel this breeze, brothers,
Caressing your cheek with sweetness
In the coast of our magic beaches
That brings the same innocent memories.
The
earth is not big
The earth is small, sisters.
There is no alien soil
We all belong to the same globe,
Sons and daughters of the same God
From the same entrails and same soul.
