What Is a Father? ►
He is someone who even though he already had seven
children, wanted you too. ►
He is someone who goes to work, comes home
and spends two hours in his vegetable garden showing you how to grow stuff. ►
He is someone who carried you to bed when you fell asleep
watching TV with him. ►
He is someone who wanted to take you with him when he went
somewhere in his car. ►
He is someone you never heard curse, argue with his wife,
take a drink and never hit you. ►
He is someone you could look up to and be proud of. ►
He is someone that you wanted to make proud of you. ►
He is someone who would take his last dime and give it to
family and friends when in time of need. ►
He is someone that when you did something wrong you could see
it in his eyes and hear it in his voice that your
punishment hurt him worse than it did you. ►
He is someone who spent his Social Security trying to win
the lottery, so he could help you with the money. ►
He is someone who on his death bed
reminded his children and grandchildren to look out for you. ►
That is what a Father is to me. He is Love. ►
